SoundCloud has just announced that it has secured $75 million investment from SiriusXM – which, remember, acquired another leading music streaming platform, Pandora, last year in a $3.5bn all-stock transaction.
It’s been less than a year since SiriusXM completed its $3.5 billion acquisition of streaming music service Pandora, but the two companies have already leveraged their collective assets to boost each other’s services.
SiriusXM, Pandora and Howard Stern announced that Howard Stern: 19 from 2019 — a curated showcase of selections from The Howard Stern Show’s unparalleled, world-class interviews — will be available as a podcast series on Pandora, the most popular audio streaming App in the U.S.
Pandora’s redesigned mobile app experience is today available to all users, following a limited rollout that began in October. Pandora today announced a new integration with Instagram that will allow users to share to their Instagram Story their favorite music and podcasts.
