Digital and Technology Platforms Create Pro Bono Content, Donate Ad Space to Help Share Critical and Urgent COVID-19 Messaging
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ad Council, White House, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced today that they are partnering with leading digital and technology platforms, including Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, SiriusXM and Pandora, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter and Verizon Media, among others, to extend the reach and impact of critical COVID-19 response messaging. From custom filters to emojis to influencer content, digital and technology partners are leveraging their tools to connect their audiences with life-saving messages to help slow the spread of the virus.

SIRIUSXM AND PANDORA, SPOTIFY, TIDAL, AND YOUTUBE MUSIC CONTRIBUTE GENEROUS DONATIONS TO THE MUSICARES® COVID-19 RELIEF FUND
Leading music streaming and tech companies Amazon Music, Facebook, SiriusXM and Pandora, Spotify, TIDAL, and YouTube Music have announced today they are contributing to COVID-19 Relief Fund affiliated charitable foundation MusiCares®, to support music industry workers in need.
The COVID-19 Relief Fund was established to provide monetary support to the thousands of music creators and industry professionals who have been most affected by the Coronavirus pandemic due to the unprecedented cancellation of music events and work opportunities. Since the fund’s establishment last week, MusiCares and the Recording Academy have raised millions more than the initial $2 million to start the COVID19 Relief Fund, thanks to its esteemed partners, but more is needed. With this fund, music industry professionals including artists, production crews, technicians, and anyone impacted by the loss of income due to live music event cancelations, can apply for basic living assistance.
Doctor Radio & NYU Langone Health launch 24/7 coronavirus-focused channel & hotline
SiriusXM channel 121 becomes “Coronavirus: What You Need To Know,” and will be available on both active and inactive SiriusXM radios, and on SiriusXM streaming platforms
SiriusXM, in conjunction with NYU Langone Health, launched a special 24/7 channel dedicated to providing the public with the latest information on the coronavirus outbreak. The channel launched on Friday, March 6 at 6pm ET and features programming from SiriusXM’s Doctor Radio (Ch. 110). It is available on both active and inactive SiriusXM radios on Channel 121 and will also be available on the SiriusXM app and via SiriusXM.com.
